A custom order is best booked as far in advance as possible, preferably 1 to 2 weeks, although we can often fit in late minute requests depending on what you are after, and we will do our best to accommodate your order.
So we have as much information as possible, please include the below in your message:
- Date needed
- Number of people
- Event type
- Product type, e.g. cake, cupcakes
- Dietary requirements
- Colour scheme if any

Frequently asked questions
When and where can I pick up my cake and do you deliver?
You can pick up your cake during our business hours, which are Wednesday-Friday, 7.30am-3pm or Saturday 8am-2pm. Please let us know an approximate time you’ll be coming, so we can make sure to have your order ready.
Our address is 6/80 Gunner Drive, Te Atatū Peninsula and there’s heaps of parking outside.
We are working towards using a courier service for our cake deliveries (Auckland wide), in the meantime pick up is the preferred option. If you do have a special request for delivery then please contact us and we’ll let you know if we can help and the cost.
What do you have in store?
We change our products everyday. Although we are predominantly a cakery, we do have some savoury options, for example, scones and keto quiches and then a range of sweet treats that will include brioches, cupcakes, keto slices and some vegan goods as well as whole cakes and decorative cookies. On the weekend you’ll find some different goods, like donuts, savoury vegan scrolls etc.
Along with these treats we have great coffee, currently using the delicious Eighthirty classic blend.
Also, did you know we make everything on site!
Ingredient information – including allergens
Even though some of our products are displayed as gluten-free ingredients, dairy-free or vegan, they are made in the same kitchen as products containing these ingredients. We take all care to avoid any cross-contamination but please be aware that there may be traces of allergens. Peanuts, tree nuts and other allergens are also used at Wildflours.
How far in advance do I need to order?
We can accommodate last minute orders but of course do prefer as much time as possible. For our standard online orders we require 24 hours notice. For a special occasion or custom designed cake, 1 to 2 weeks would be great. Please email or phone us with your request and we will let you know.
How do I store/handle my cake?
We recommend once you’ve picked up your cake it’s best to take it home or to your venue as soon as possible. Make sure you have space in your car (a flat area like the boot is ideal) or get someone to hold it on their lap.
Our products are best kept in a cool dark area. Keto products will need to be kept refrigerated. Once you’ve cut your cake, then it’s best to wrap it and put it in a container in the fridge, where it will last up to a week.
Do you do wholesale?
At this stage we do not offer our products wholesale.
How do I order a custom cake?
Over the years we have made a lot of custom designed cakes that won’t necessarily be on our website or social media accounts. We are happy to work with you to create a special occasion cake. It is best to email us your requirements and give us as much information as possible, including any pictures or inspiration ideas. Then one of our team will get in touch to discuss this.
Can I make changes to my order?
Once you’ve booked and paid for your order, we start the process of planning your cake/products and don’t really like changes. We understand that sometimes things may have been overlooked and will try to accommodate your request, but in general we prefer that we get it right up front.
Can I meet with someone to talk about a cake?
Most cake orders can be made via email or over the phone. If you’d like to meet one of our team then please book in a time via email or text and we can arrange a suitable time.
Do you have an area where we can sit and enjoy our coffee and cake?
Our shop front is only small so unfortunately we don’t have any seats inside. We do have a few chairs outside that are a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a coffee and treat.
Do you offer gift cards/vouchers?
Yes we can provide a gift card/voucher for you to give as a gift. Please contact us to arrange.
Can you provide last minute treats?
We often have requests for last minute goodies. We have a range in store for you to choose from but should you require something special then please call or email us and we’ll let you know asap if we can help.
